In Reply To Take the boost controller out of the system to test... posted by Greg D. (Specialty-Z) on December 29, 2012 at 11:08 PM

Message build and we did just that. The boost ran away. Went back in an readjusted the wastegates because we found out our initial gauge was off. Used another gauge, boost was lowered and still responds similar.

We even applied direct pressure through a gauge to the solenoid itself and kept driving up the pressure until we heard the solenoid chatter as it was bleeding/maintaining set pressure. The solenoid bled off at the psi we were set at on the AVC-R.

At this point, any additional "troubleshooting" if you will would have to be done during tuning. No point in trying to troubleshoot anything since we don't get enough dry days during this time of year to warrant taking the car out.
